Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Childtime Learning Center in Tamarac! My name is Zoraida Zarate, and I am the Center Director. I have been in the early childhood education and child care industry for more than 20 years and truly love what I do. At Childtime, we offer Infant, Toddler, Twos, Preschool and VPK Programs, as well as before-and After- School care.

Every day is a new journey, and our dedicated staff and management team loves making a difference in the lives of our youngest generation. To stay current in the field of early childhood education, all staff members participate in training throughout the year. We have our own school curriculum, which will take your child through a customized learning path. Our School is NECPA accredited and it is a proud participant in Florida's Gold Seal Quality Care program.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. This full-day learning experience enhances your child’s school readiness journey. Every child who turns 4 by September 1 may be eligible for free VPK. Schedule a tour to learn more.

Education: Associate in Arts, Secondary Education Degree

Certifications: Florida Child Care Professional Credential, VPK Credential, CPR and Florida Director's Credential

I have nearly 20 years of experience in early childhood education and have been working with the company since 2015. My first position was as Program Assistant Director, then as a School Education Manager and now Center Director.
