Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Childtime Learning Center in Ellicott City, MD! My name is Bethanie and I am the center director! I have a degree in early childhood development and elementary education. I have worked in the field for over 15 years.

Whether it's providing loving care for Infants or participating in activities in our Preschool programs, I enjoy what I get to do each day and that is to watch so many little ones learn and grow. Children are the leaders of tomorrow and we understand the importance of their developmental milestones during the early years. Our teachers participate in training throughout the year to ensure we are providing the best care and education for our students.

I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk. We plan events for everyone to participate in and I work hard to ensure that families meet each other and develop strong relationships, as well.

Bethanie Faulkner, Director

Education: Early Childhood Education

I am a mom of two amazing boys; our lives are full of adventure and baseball! I began my journey in Childcare in 2007 and started my career with Learning Care Group in 2014. I have always seen myself working with children and being able to have a positive impact on their lives. Seeing the excitement and accomplishment from the teachers and children when a new skill or milestone has been achieved is the highlight of my day! I am so grateful to have the opportunity to teach tomorrow's leaders!

I have 19 years of experience working with children from the ages of six weeks to 12 years old. I come from a huge family, which encouraged my passion to work with children. I have an 11-year-old son, and I enjoy being with my family and creating new memories. I have been a part of the company for five years.

I have over 21 years of experience working with children ages infancy to eighth grade. You could say I love being a part of a child's growth and development at every age group. My job allows me the ability to foster a sense of community in the center. I pride myself on the parents knowing that their children are in a safe, loving and structured learning environment here at Childtime.
