Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Childtime in Winston-Salem, NC, YOUR essential child care facility! Since we opened in 1991, we have provided a safe and welcoming learning environment for children within the Forsyth and Davidson County areas.
We offer programs ranging from Infant Care to Pre-Kindergarten. Our programs will exceed your expectations for an early child care facility. We continue our journey with them by providing Before- and After-school care and as well as a Summer Camp up until age 12. Together, our staff has more than 400+ years of experience at this location. All teachers participate in ongoing training throughout the year. Additionally, we ensure that all children receive healthy and balanced meals that are safe for those with allergies.

Heather Shaw, Director
Education: Bachelor's of Science and Social Work
Certifications: SIDS, BSAC, First Aid, CPR, Playground Safety, Emergency Prepardeness and Response
I have been with the company since 1996. I worked with infants and toddlers initially and was promoted to center director in 2006. I hold a bachelor's degree of science and social work. My passion is working with children and families and providing the best education and experience families and children can receive.

Mary Caudill, Assistant Director
Education: N.C. Early Childhood Credentials and Admin I and II
Certifications: BSAC, CPR, First Aid, SIDS, Emergency Prepardeness and Response
I have been with the company since 2000. My passion for children began at the age of five. I began my journey at La Petite Academy in Winston Salem in 2000 and was promoted to the Childtime assistant director in 2013. I love being able to not only work with children, but families as well. I take pride in promoting a fun and positive environment for children, families and staff!

I have been with the company since 2007. I began my journey working with children as a PreK teacher at Childtime and worked my way up to team lead at one of our La Petite locations here in Winston Salem, then returned back to Childtime in 2021 as the Admin Assistant. I look forward to my continued work to develop our future generations and to assist families in being part of our family.
