Welcome to Childtime, a FOUR STAR Step Up To Quality school in Painesville, OH. My name Char and I am the school director. I have my Bachelor Degree in Health Care Administration and my Associate of Arts degree in early childhood education.

Childtime offers Infant Care, Preschool, and School Age programs. We have always made safety a high priority and we have stepped up our health and safety measures. All adults must wear masks as they enter the school and temperature checks are completed upon arrival for anyone that enters the building.

Char Gilles, Director

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration; Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education

I have been in the industry for almost 20 years and have two children of my own. I have worked with every age group and been in administration for four and a half years of it. I love to watch children grow and learn. Seeing them reach their milestones brings a smile to my face. I enjoy developing relationships with the families and making memories here at Childtime.

Building relationships with families, children and co-workers is a significant part of my life. Being in this industry for over 20 years, it warms my heart to watch my former student grow into their teen years all the way through adulthood and having them share their favorite memories from their time at our school.

I have been in the childcare field for over four years. I have been a lead teacher in Pre-K, Preschool, and Toddlers. Teaching little ones is a huge part of my life.
